Bookkeeper: Lily Spamer
History: Teacher, reporter, freelance writer, bookkeeper
A Brazilian native, Lily has lived in Florida for 12 years. Prior to moving to Florida, Lily lived on the prairies of Alberta
and Saskatchewan, Canada. But even at the age of six, she knew she was destined for warmer climes again someday. It may have taken
Lily seventeen years to move but at last, with a Bachelor of Arts degree in hand from the University of Alberta, Lily finally left
the snow behind for the Sunshine State.
At first Lily taught high school English; mainly in the Broward County Public School System. After several years teaching, Lily moved
on to pursue her own writing career. Lily worked for a weekly newspaper and then a local daily newspaper before deciding on a freelance
career. Now Lily divides time between interviewing CEOs (even a few celebrities), writing blogs for Boca Talent websites, and chasing the
money from clients who don’t pay on time. Lily finds the great vibe at the agency the perfect place to create whether she’s writing a blog
or hashing out an article for Floridays Magazine. Maybe it’s the disco ball … or is it the leopard print carpet?
